Common enemy

I remember watching the film independence day and I was really moved when the whole world came together for their last stand to defeat the alien invaders. A common enemy united man. Well we have a common enemy now the corona virus. However it seems there is not just one common enemy. Mental illness, poverty and the destruction of the planet seem to have hit the fan and are effecting almost everyone right now weather you are rich or poor or have been diagnosed with a disability or not. Never before has mental illness and poverty and the effects of our impact on the planet been so much a part of the conversation. Maybe this is a opportunity to unite as a planet, silence our phones and put our differences aside.
